Scenic day hikes and endless backcountry adventures
The Sol Duc Valley is one of the most multi-faceted destinations within Olympic National Park. The Sol Duc offers a wide variety of day-hikes, the most popular being the 0.8 mile one-way trail to Sol Duc Falls. It is also the starting trailhead for the Seven Lakes Basin Loop, an incredible 19-mile loop that features backcountry campsites along the route and provides connections to the Hoh River Trail, Appleton Pass, and Bogachiel Rain Forest. Near the Sol Duc trailhead is the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort and a variety of drive-in campgrounds for cars and RVs.
