About the Tour
Our Half Day Tour of Olympic National Park itinerary was specifically designed to allow Seattle-based travelers to experience the best of Olympic National Park on a day trip without the need for a rental car or an overnight stay.
This locally inspired half-day itinerary features top-rated Olympic Peninsula destinations including the Elwha River, Lake Crescent, a guided hike to Marymere Falls, and a bonus sightseeing stop along the Strait of Juan De Fuca at Salt Creek. Old-growth forests, waterfalls, a glacier-fed river, coastal bluffs, and one of the most picturesque lakes in the Pacific Northwest make this day trip well worth the voyage and scenic bus ride.
Travel Advisory: Washington State Ferries has been experiencing schedule delays for the Seattle-Bainbridge sailing. We are recommending the 8:45am sailing instead of the 9:35am to avoid a missed connection with the Strait Shot Bus, which departs promptly at 10:20am. This provides a 1 hour buffer instead of a 10 minute connection window.
