The out/back trip along the Hoh River Trail showcases the stunning old-growth temperate rain forest of the Hoh River Valley for the first 10 miles, while the remaining 7 miles climb up into the subalpine, eventually reaching the base camp of Mount Olympus. Continuing downhill to the bottom of the valley, you will walk along the river surrounded by peaks and huckleberries in the Stephen Mather Wilderness.
